Deadline set for Daily News’ primary election Letters to the Editor
Residents wishing to support a particular candidate or election issue have until noon Aug. 8 to write Letters to the Editor to the Palatka Daily News’ Public Forum.
Letter writers must include a name, address and phone number so they can be verified by Daily News staff. The writer’s name and town of residence will be published.
Letters can be no longer than 350 words. Typewritten letters are preferred. Letters signed by multiple writers will not be accepted.
Daily News editorial staff will reject any letter it deems to be potentially libelous or inappropriate. A letter writer can expect no more than one letter to be published within a 30-day period.
All letters pertaining to the August primary election will be published by Aug. 13. Early voting for the August primary election begins Aug. 17.
