An exasperated Welaka Town Councilman Jamie Watts was the last to speak before the nearly hourlong Welaka town council meeting adjourned.

Karen Charlene Alexander, 70, of Bostwick, passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Putnam Community Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident.
