Christell “Kitty” Booker Bentley, age 97, of Tucker, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
She was preceded in death by parents, George Creary Booker and Ella Barber Booker, Pensacola, FL; husbands, Aulden Dean, D.D. “Jeff” Jeffords and Ben Bentley of Palatka, FL.; brothers, Grover Booker and J.C. Booker, Pensacola; and sisters, Nell Kutzer and Joyce Zeagler.
She is survived by son, Daryl Dean (Eli Best), Decatur, GA; and by her adopted family of Danny Byars (James Mullen); grandsons, Jaden and Jacob Mullen-Byars, Douglassville; as well as many nephews and nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
In her earlier life, Kitty was a Florida real estate agent and she had also worked at Pensacola Hospital, FL, where she held many positions. She attended St. Johns River College and Tate High School, Palatka. Christell attended Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Fellowship Circle.
Celebration of life will be at Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church, 3142 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
