Willie Lee Woodard Jr., respectfully bowed to God’s will and entered eternal rest on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Advent Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Willie Lee Woodard Jr. was born on June 21, 1956, in St. Augustine, Florida. Willie Lee attended St. Johns County Schools. After being a “grown man,” he decided to go into the Army to serve our country for three years. After returning from the Army, Willie Lee moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he remained until his passing.

He loved traveling, which was his first passion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Willie Lee will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Willie Lee Woodard Sr.; siblings, David Woodard, Johnny Lee Woodard and Delores Woodard.

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, William Woodard (Jasmine); grandchildren, Chase Alexander, Dakotah Dixon, Tenghan Woodard, and Chloe Woodard; sisters, Mary Woodard, Daytona Beach, Florida; Edna Woodard, Brunswick, Georgia; Aspasia Williams (Edgar) and Beatrice Woodard, St. Augustine, FL; brothers, Tommy Woodard, St. Augustine; Clarence Woodard (Tanya); special cousin, Clarence Murray, St. Augustine, FL; a special and favorite niece and caregiver, Latanya Anderson (Ricky) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends and the community 6-7 p.m., on Friday, October 28 (today), at the Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life: 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel.
