Herman T. Noles

Herman T. Noles, 65, of Satsuma, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness.

He was a native of Douglas, Ga., and had lived in Putnam County for over 60 years. Herman was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served in Vietnam and was a member of Bostwick Baptist Church. He had worked as a meat cutter at Publix and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Dyess.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Linda Stuckey Noles, of Satsuma, son, William Noles, daughters, Joyce Stevens and husband Rick, Connie Hall and husband Sam, Michelle Williams and husband Mike and Mary Kay Cribbs and husband Anthony, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at Bostwick Cemetery with Bro. David Eddins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses, c/o Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home, 307 S. Palm Ave., Palatka, FL 32177. Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Herman’s Book of Memories page at www.johnsonoverturffunerals.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.

Emma Grace Durden, 80, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at Palatka Health Care Center.

Arrangements are entrusted to Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel, Palatka. 
 

Corey Tanner

Corey Tanner, 24, of Bunnell, died suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 in Espanola.

Arrangements will be announced by Coleman’s Mortuary of Hastings.
