Notice is given that, pursuant to section 733.816, Florida Statutes, unclaimed probate funds of $1,000.00 are being held for MARK FITZGERALD in the registry of court, deposited per order of February 8, 2017, in the Estate of RAYMOND THOMAS CLOUSE, deceased, case number 53-2015-CP-00026.

Without regard for the public’s right and need to know, Putnam County continues to pay for half of tax deed sales notices to be published in the Daily News and pay for the other half to be published in Crescent City’s weekly newspaper. As a result of this legal but flawed system, many notices have not appeared in the neighborhood where the at-risk property is located. To fix this problem, the Daily News will publish tax deed sale notices as assigned and, at no charge to the county, publish a summary of the other notices. This month’s summary appeared on AUGUST 9, 2017. A copy may be reviewed at 1825 St. Johns Ave. during normal business hours.
