As Hurricane Ian threatens Putnam County, some events have been postponed or canceled until further notice. Below is a list of events that, as of Monday, we’re either set to go on as planned or are seeing schedule changes:

 

EVENTS CANCELED/DELAYED

– The gallery opening for Jacksonville artist Elena Øhlander planned for Friday at the Larimer Arts Center in Palatka has been postponed until a later date.

– End Times Prophetic Summit originally scheduled for Friday at Coventry Oaks Farms in Palatka has been delayed until Oct. 14.

– The 43rd annual Azalea City Cruisers Car and Truck Show and flea market and swap scheduled for Saturday at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in East Palatka has been postponed.

 

EVENTS STILL SCHEDULED

As of Monday, the following events were still set to go on as planned:

– Rotary Club of Crescent City will host its 30th annual Swine & Wine fundraising dinner Saturday at Crescent Lake Farms previously Wesnofske Farms, 351 Clifton Road.

Advance tickets are $60 or $75 at the door. Tickets are available at Napa Auto Parks, 533 S. Summit St.; Century 21 Real Estate, 611 N. Summit St.; or by calling 386-559-4822.

All proceeds will fund Dollars for Scholars scholarship program for South Putnam high school students and community projects.

– The Interlachen Historical Society will host Tea with Mrs. Flagler 2 p.m. Saturday at Interlachen Hall, 215 Atlantic Ave. The tea will include three of Florida’s most influential citizens reenactors – the three wives of Henry Flagler.

Dianne Jacoby will take guests back to the 1880s with her costumes and portrays to present the history of Florida as seen through the wives’ eyes. Period dress is encouraged but not required. Advance tickets are $15 and available at www.facebook/interlachenhistoricalsociety or by calling Pat High at 386-916-0134 or Jean Russell at 386-684-0103.  Tickets at the door will be $20.

– The Animal Rescue Consortium will host its Barkin Brunch Bash 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at Mystic Bistro, 2 N. Park St.

Highlights include brunch, an auction, cash bar and Animal T-Shirt Contest. Katie Berg will prepare the brunch. Door prizes will also be given away. Tickets are $20 each or $35 for two. Tickets are available at Crescent City Kennel, cash or check only.

Guests are invited to wear their favorite animal T-shirt and will be judged on Most Colorful, Unique and Funny.
