Info sought after man’s death ruled suspicious
Local law enforcement officials are seeking information after a Palatka man’s death earlier this month was ruled suspicious.
Arnold Choate, 72, was found dead at his 118 Heidt Road residence July 2, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Allison Waters-Merritt said the cause of Choate’s death is not being released due to an ongoing investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Choate or anything suspicious that occurred in the area of Hedit Road the morning and afternoon hours of July 2 to reach out to law enforcement.
