Man accused of selling dad’s items for drug
An East Palatka man is accused of stealing items from his father’s home Wednesday.
David Bock, 32, was charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
According to a Putnam County Sheriff’s Office report, the suspect was home while his father was on vacation. The suspect’s father told the suspect before the trip he would pursue charges if any items went missing, the report said.
The suspect told deputies he pawned items to buy $600 worth of dilaudid pills for him and his ex-wife.
A circular saw, a nail gun and an iPad were still missing, the report said.
The suspect was held on a $7,500 bond.
