Schools put on lockdown, no immediate threat
Moseley Elementary School and C.L. Overturf Jr. Sixth Grade Center are currently under lockdown procedures after a man was reported to be walking with a gun in proximity to the schools, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said the children are safe, and there have not been any sightings of the suspect on either campus. The lockdown is for precautionary reasons, and teachers are currently following lockdown procedures.
