Allen Lenard Davis

Allen Lenard Davis, 53, of Daytona Beach, FL was born on Sunday, Sept. 19, 1965, to the late Lester and Peggy Davis Sr. in Daytona Beach, Fla., where he was raised. Allen, who was referred to as “Booda - K” by family and friends, was educated in the Volusia County School District, graduating from Spruce Creek High School with the Class of 1984. He later furthered his education to become a massage therapist. Allen was a member of Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Daytona Beach, FL, and was a part of “The Sons of Allen.” He also owned a detailing company. Mr. Davis was a faithful member of the Masonic Mason Lodge # 97, Saloman Temple Group. Allen enjoyed cooking and making those that he encountered laugh. He was a Florida State University and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.

On Friday, June 7, 2019, Mr. Allen Lenard Davis transitioned from this earthly dwelling into his eternal realm of glory.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Dwight D. Davis. 

He leaves to cherish his many memories: children, Pherion Davis, Ivory Davis, Tynisha Mitchell; grandchildren, DeMario Mitchell, Demarcus Mithcell and Janiece Williams; brothers and sisters, Edward Davis, Denver, Colorado; Cassandra Singleton, Quincy, Florida; Rev. Lester (Briget) Davis, Ormond Beach, Florida; Jr., Ricky (Lisa) Davis, Palm Coast, Florida; Alicia Fennell, Palm Coast, Florida; Jerry Davis, Ocala, Florida; and Angela Davis, Daytona Beach, Florida;  3 Godchildren, 4 aunts, 2 uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The viewing will be Friday, June 14, 2019, (today) from 6–8 p.m. at Herbert Thompson Funeral Home in Daytona Beach, Fla.  The Homegoing Celebration will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Daytona Beach, the Rev. Nathan Mugala, pastor. His brother, Rev. Lester Davis is the eulogist. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Daytona Beach. Family and friends may sign the register book at
