Ralph Charles Higginbotham, 78, of Palatka, passed from this life peacefully Sunday, Dec. 25, 2017, at Palatka Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Jacksonville, he resided in Palatka for 37 years. A plumber by trade, Ralph loved the water, was a skilled bowler and loved his family very much. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 184 and was of the Baptist faith.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ora Fay Higginbotham; two daughters, Angela Renee Burney (Ardell) of Palatka and Teresa Renee Stroger (fiancé Chris) of Palatka; and six grandchildren, Byron Burney, Ashley Burney, Courtney Stroger, Dylan Stroger, Melissa Barnhill and Mitchell Burney; and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzey Burney, Corbin Burney and Sophia Burney.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Brother Mike Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Bostwick Cemetery.
