Dorothy Glover, 77, of Palm Coast, FL; the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Capers Mobley, was born on Saturday, Sept. 6, 1941, in Quitman, Ga. She later married Willie Glover and to this union they started a family. Dorothy loved her family and spent many years as a caregiver.
On Friday, May 31, 2019, Dorothy was called to eternal rest at AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Glover; sons, Charles Glover and Willie Glover Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Erline Anthony, and Gloria Mobley; and brothers, Capers Mobley, James Mobley, and Lonnie Mobley.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Barbara Glover (Dennis), Deborah Glover and Regina Glover of Palm Coast, FL and Tonya Glover (Mike) of Bunnell, FL; sons, Michael Glover and Anthony Glover of Bunnell, FL; sisters, Elsie Coleman (Donald) of Daytona, FL, Lottie Mobley (Jessie) of Bunnell, FL; brothers, Autley Mobley of Raiford, FL; sister-in-law, Mary Mobley of Bunnell, FL; 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing services are Thursday, June 6, 2019, (today) from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Espanola, FL, the Rev. Dr. Frank Giddens Sr., Pastor.
Funeral services are Friday, June 7, 2019, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Espanola, FL, the Rev. Dr. Frank Giddens Sr., Pastor. Pastor Windy Ford-Butler of New Beginning Gospel Church, eulogist. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
