Kathleen “Kay” Baker, 77, of Interlachen, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness.
Kathleen was born in Pontiac, Mich., and lived in Interlachen for 26 years, coming from Pontiac. She was an assembly line worker and retired in 1993 from Mac Valves in Wixom, Mich., after 25 years of service. She enjoyed Facebook and online games, especially POGO, and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Baker, and a brother, Larry Lee.
Surviving are a son, Jay Baker and companion, Loretta Parrish, of Interlachen; a daughter, Toni Owen and companion, Sam Smith, of Interlachen; a sister, Roxanne Stoner of Flint, Mich.; a grandson, Rick Baker of California; and two great-grandchildren on the way.
No services are planned.
