Margaret L. Fernandez

Margaret Louise Fernandez, 92, of Port Richey, passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson following a brief illness. Heaven gained another angel.

Margaret was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in Port Richey for 11 years, coming from Interlachen. She worked in meat packaging for Publix for over 25 years. She loved golfing, playing the organ, bowling and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mildred Adams; her husband, Robert W. Fernandez; two sons, Kenneth R. and Jerry R. Miller; a grandson, Sean A. Terdrick; and two brothers, Franie L. and James W. Adams.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Sandra K. Tedrick of Palatka and Carol J. Layfield of Port Richey; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Chris White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Forest Meadows Cemetery East in Gainesville.
