Carl Marcus Christiansen Jr.

Carl Marcus “Mark” Christiansen Jr., 52, of Ocala (formerly of Palatka), passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at his residence.

Mark was born May 21, 1970, in Palatka, where he was raised and was a graduate of Palatka High. He later moved to Ocala to expand his metal recycling business. He loved keeping up with UF football and was always up for a laugh.

Surviving are four children, Heather Nicole Mason (Jeremy) of Ocala, Carl Marcus Christiansen III (Alexandrea) of Mims, Christopher James Christiansen of Tampa, and Katelyn Marie Christiansen of Gainesville; parents, Carl Marcus Christiansen (Rayel) of East Palatka and Jacqueline Hewett Dinwiddle of Jacksonville; a sister, Michelle Christiansen Gallio of Houston, TX; a brother, Charles Brown of Palatka; and two grandchildren, Gabriella Mason and Caleb Mason.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Ronnie Walker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
