Interlachen students named to Varsity Spirit Squad

Took part in the VRBO Citrus Bowl pre-game performance

Interlachen Junior-Senior High School students Alyssa Turner, right, an 11th grader, and Kamryn Helms, left, a ninth grader, were selected to be part of the Varsity Spirit trophy-winning cheerleading squad named All-Americans who were invited to perform in the VRBO Citrus Bowl Pre-Game Performance. It was the first for the West Putnam school. The picture was taken in January at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando where the Citrus Bowl was held.

There’s a first time for everything and for two Interlachen Junior-Senior High School cheerleaders it came last July after they attended Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp at the Renaissance…
