Share your holiday, dishes, traditions, decorations with PDN

The holiday season has begun and the Palatka Daily News wants to know how you celebrate. 

Send us your recipes, tell us your favorite traditions for Christmas and other holidays, and show us photos of your decorations. 

We plan to publish your Christmas recipes in December and hope to inspire other Putnam County residents to try their hand at making those dishes. 

We hope to publish the recipes in our Dec. 16 edition to give other residents enough time to follow your holiday recipe and share your traditions with their loved ones. 

If you make one of the dishes we publish in our recipe listing, send pictures of you making the dish and the food itself to the Palatka Daily News to be published in our Christmas edition Dec. 23. 

We also want to know your favorite holiday traditions with family or friends. Send photos of those traditions and a description so we can share them with our readers in our Christmas edition.

As the season progresses and Putnam looks more festive, we’d like to see how you decorate your home, office or any other locations you hold dear. We plan to share some of those photos throughout November and December, and publish the rest in our Christmas edition. 

Email your photos, recipes and traditions to clerk@palatkadailynews.com and scavacini@palatkadailynews.com. If you cannot email the information, come to the business office, 1825 St. Johns Ave. in Palatka, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays so we can scan your items and immediately return them to you. Include a contact person’s name, contact information and city of residence.

Deadlines: 

• Send us your favorite recipes by noon Dec. 14. 
• Tell us about your favorite traditions and send photos of the traditions by 5 p.m. on Dec. 18. The same deadline applies for photos of your decorations.
• If you try your hand at the recipes we publish, send us photos of the results by 5 p.m. Dec. 21.
