Palatka officials have lifted the boil water notice that was in effect for part of the city.

The boil water notice the city of Palatka issued last week has been lifted.
City customers along Zeagler Drive from St. Johns Avenue to Wolf Bay Road were advised to boil any water meant for consumptions for at least three minutes to eliminate possible contamination.
Palatka officials issued a statement today saying tests indicate water in the area is safe to drink.
