As of Thursday afternoon, 1,572 of the county’s 50,263 eligible voters had submitted a mail-in ballot, according to the Supervisor of Elections’ office.

Early voting polls open 8:30 a.m. Monday and will run through Aug. 20. The polls close at 5:30 p.m. daily.

The primary election day will be Aug. 23. See page 6A of today’s paper to view a sample ballot.

There will be three early voting locations:

– Elections Office: 2509 Crill Ave., Suite 900, in Palatka

– Interlachen Community Center: 135 S. County Road 315 in Interlachen

– South Putnam Government Complex: 115 N. Summit St. in Crescent City

Write-in and non-party affiliated candidates will not be included on the primary election ballot. They will be included in the November general election.
