Arthur Serafino

Arthur Serafino, 76, passed away at his home in Crescent City early Sunday morning, November 6, 2022.

He came to live in Crescent City 22 years ago coming from Ft. Lauderdale. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army.  Later he worked as a jet engineer inspector with G.E. in Massachusetts. He was lover of all animals, science, astronomy, race car driving as a driver and later as a spectator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Evelyn Serafino; brother, Russell Serafino; and his beloved wire-haired terrier and companion of 14 years, “Pea.”

He is survived by his companion, Diana Hirsch of Crescent City; his children, Billy, Laura, and Tommy Serafino; a brother, Gary Serafino and sister-in-law, Peggy Serafino; nephews Danny and James Serafino; several grandchildren and his best friend, Donnie Blankenship of Florahome.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Beulah Baptist Church in Crescent City, FL with Pastor Roger Phillips officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Homes, Crescent City, Florida.
