Eleanor Bostick Hickson, 84, of Hepzibah, GA (formerly of Palatka) entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in Piedmont Augusta Hospital, Augusta, GA.
She is preceded in eternal rest by her oldest son, Derrick Tooley.
To cherish her memories: her husband of 65 years, Samuel Hickson; daughters, Doretha Roberts and Deborah Hickson Smith; son, Gregory Hickson; siblings, Freddie (Rosalee) Bostick, Gwendolyn Lucas, Gloria (Frank) Small, Kathy Melton, Ernest Porter, and Patricia Porter; lifelong friend, Apostle Dr. Cora B. Fells; grandchildren, Deidra, Sharee, Nicara, Ashley, and Quinn; and a host of great-grandchildren, goddaughter, Ronice Fells, other relatives and loving friends.
Homegoing Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Historic First Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2040 Ebenezer Drive, Hepzibah, GA. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Visitation of family and friends will be from 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the funeral chapel.
