Gustine “Gus” Moore, 60, of Palatka, peacefully entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, December 1, 2022, at the Haven-Roberts Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family.

He is the son of late Adolph Moore and Rachel C. Robinson; he was born on November 10, 1962. Gustine aka Gus was educated in the Putnam County School District and was briefly employed at Atlas Truss before his health declined. He also was a member of Little Bethel, Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of his (twin) brother, the Reverend Ostine Moore.

“Gus” enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, taking care of his beloved dog, “Debo” and most of all spending time with his loving family and friends. He was also a died hard Florida State Seminoles, UNC Basketball and America’s team The Dallas Cowboy fan.

He was preceded in death by his: (Parents) Rachel Robinson and Adolph Moore; (Maternal and Paternal grandparents) Constancha Christopher, Ephram Christopher and Annie Wright.

Cherishing his memories: his beloved (Wife) Dorothy Moore; (Like a Son) Dominique Diamond Brown; (Brothers) Garry Moffett (Germany), Ostine (Evangeline) Moore (Hawthorne), Danny Moore, Palatka; (Sister) Adele Moore Coffey (Thomas), Aurora NC; (Special Friend) Rhonda Peeples; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and loving relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friday, December 9, 2022, 4-6 p.m., Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 800 Bronson St., Palatka, FL

Celebration Of Life: Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., Bethlehem Baptist Church, 900 Madison St., Palatka, FL, 32177. The Rev. Dr. Andrew McRae officiating.

Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, 690 Old San Mateo Road, San Mateo, FL, 32187.
