Marion Clyde Thomas

Marion Clyde Thomas ” Chubby” was born in Alachua, Florida, to Helen Dennis and Clyde Thomas on January 22, 1956. He worked as a handyman for several small local businesses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his siblings, Rubin D. Tobler and Sharon A. Holmes; and grandmother, Josephine Chambers.

He leaves to cherish his memories: siblings, Luis M. Kelly, Willie F. McFayden Sr., Eddie J. Jenkins, Jimmie L. Dennis Jr., Toney L. Dennis and Ashley Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

The Thomas family received friends and the community 6-7 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, (today) at Faith Temple Holiness Family Church. Internment: Woodlawn Cemetery.
