A special meeting to amend the city of Palatka’s future land use map on the Hammock Hall property will be 5 p.m. Tuesday.
A local business volunteered Friday to chip in the more than $3,000 organizers need to fund the city’s longstanding Christmas parade.
Palatka’s biggest fishing tournament won’t be returning this February, B.A.S.S. officials confirmed.
At least 200 people on Thursday packed boxes filled with food that will be distributed to students in Putnam County schools.
Palatka Christmas Parade organizers will need to come up with more than $3,300 to put on the traditional event this year after the city pulled out of co-sponsorship, organizers say.
